Job Purpose:
As a Customer Service Adviser, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding service and support to our customers. You will be the first point of contact, helping to resolve queries, handle complaints, and ensure a smooth customer journey across all touch points.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer queries via phone, email, chat, and in-person.
- Provide accurate information regarding products, services, and orders.
- Resolve complaints and follow up to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Process sales orders, returns, and warranty claims.
- Keep detailed records of customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve complex issues.
- Maintain product knowledge to effectively support customers.
- Meet service level targets (e.g., response times, satisfaction ratings).
- Represent Artek UK’s values in all customer interactions.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and listening skills.
- Patience, empathy, and problem-solving ability.
- Basic IT proficiency (CRM, MS Office, email systems).
- Ability to manage time and work under pressure.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude.
Qualifications:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
- Customer service training or NVQ Level 2/3 (preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience (retail, call centre, or office-based).
Working Conditions:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (some weekend work may apply).
- Office-based with the option of hybrid working, depending on location.
